(3) Detailed plan
What does NOGAMI Corporation contribute?
After finalizing the first-stage plans for the management's investment, NOGAMI Corporation proceeds with the detailed planning.
At this stage, NOGAMI furnishes the maintenance people with documents and drawings describing the following for detailed discussion on maintenance:
1. Maintenance concept
2. Machine layout
3. Machine specifications (simplified)
The overview of the maintenance concept, 1 above, is key. Normally it takes one to two weeks to finalize the above documents. If necessary, the people engaged in this discussion will visit the plants to be serviced for further discussion with the plant planners. People engaged in heavy industries in the area will also join in on the discussion to form plans on the special maintenance required.
During this stage, NOGAMI Corporation meets management and other parties to discuss the burden sharing (on-shore) of the many types of work to be performed during project execution. To save investment and promote technology transfer, the management must give first priority to subcontracting and procuring locally whenever possible.
NOGAMI Corporation then reports the final plan to management, together with the expected investment amount, for approval.
